Project Highlights

Global project by a consortium of OEMs and Suppliers to evolve from hydraulic auxiliary system and internal combustion propulsion to Electric.

In battery powered electric vehicles (BEV) major portion of battery energy should be spent on traction. Only minor part of battery energy should be used for powering of auxiliary systems. I led a team to create and implement a 10-year strategy to move all major and auxiliary systems to electric. This was a complex project as it also added factories and manufacturing to the equation. From a technology perspective the consortium was ready. From a infrastructure perspective it was a 10-year + implementation plan.

We provided the framework for plan implementation and strategy. All systems and supply chains initially defined moved production to electric.

All consortium players involved are now well positioned in the automotive playing field to accommodate new market requirements and demands for Electric and Autonomous Vehicles.
